InnoVEX 2026 Pitch Contest Special Awards Feature Prizes from AVITIC, Plug and Play, and PwC to Support Startups Aiming to Expand

Positioned as the Innovation Hub of Asia, Asia’s leading startup event: InnoVEX has achieved great success and growth over 10 years since it started in 2016. To celebrate the start of its second decade, InnoVEX 2026 will be held concurrently with COMPUTEX 2026 from June 2 to 5 in Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Halls 1 and 2, as well as Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) Hall 1.

In its first decade, InnoVEX has steadily grown its influence and reach. It has successfully connected the global tech industry with startups from around the world. InnoVEX 2025 was joined by over 450 startups from 24 countries and regions, as well as 34 thousand global visitors which included VCs, CVCs, buyers, and accelerators. As one of the organizers, Taipei Computer Association (TCA) stated that organizing a global Pitch Contest, inviting international VCs to serve as judges for the contest, and gathering sponsorships from government agencies and tech companies help propel InnoVEX to become a global stage for startups to showcase their innovations to the world. At the same time, it also turns InnoVEX into a one-stop platform for expanding international business opportunities and accurately matching resources to the startups that will benefit the most from them.

The organizers of InnoVEX 2026 announced that registration for InnoVEX 2026 will begin on January 8, 2026. In addition to the highly prestigious Grand Prize, InnoVEX 2026 will partner with renowned global organizations and programs, including: Applied Ventures ITIC Innovation Fund (AVITIC), Plug and Play Taiwan, and PwC Taiwan, with more to be announced. In addition to cash prizes, the winners will be able to win various customized mentoring and business matching resources, as well as the opportunity to directly join various international accelerator programs and tailored support for their international expansion. The InnoVEX Pitch Contest will continue to serve as a vital platform to promote startups aiming to expand their reach. To help achieve this, the organizers will promote the Pitch Contest winners through dedicated press releases that will be published on the organizer’s official website. In addition, the winner of the InnoVEX Grand Prize will receive USD 30,000 worth of cash and resources, including: USD 10,000 cash prizes, a free Shell Scheme booth in InnoVEX 2027, a promotional video, promotion via newsletters, and more. The Grand Prize winner will also be able to enjoy exclusive matchmaking opportunities.

The InnoVEX Special Awards aim to promote startups in their global expansion efforts through the strategic influence and leverage from leading companies. The Applied Ventures ITIC Award will focus on cooperation between startups and industry giants, providing vital resources, opportunities, and connections with the Applied Ventures head office.

The Plug and Play Taiwan Award will focus on startups aiming to expand their market reach globally. The winning teams will be guaranteed admission into their accelerator programs, personalized mentoring, business networking, and professional international consultation services to secure essential high-profile coverage. The PwC Taiwan’s Award will focus on the long-term development of businesses, providing 6 months of intensive accelerator mentoring, combining potential business opportunity matching with marketing resources to ensure a successful international expansion for the winning teams.

According to historic records from TCA, InnoVEX has invested a total of NTD 50 million into startup development efforts since its inception. By providing valuable resources and opportunities, InnoVEX has successfully facilitated a great number of vital strategic cooperations between global VCs and startups, making it a key partner for startups aiming to connect with the global tech ecosystem.

Currently the main global trend in the tech world revolves around AI, ESG, and robotics, and major VCs have personal interests in these specific fields. Leveraging this trend, the 2026 InnoVEX Pitch Contest will be open for startups focusing on the following 8 categories: AI, Green Tech, Healthcare & Biotech, Mobility & Communication, Next-Generation Entertainment, Precision Manufacturing, Semiconductor Applications, and Robotics.

Continuing the position of InnoVEX as a leading startup focused event in Asia, the 2026 InnoVEX Pitch Contest will once again gather VCs and representatives from international heavyweight companies to serve as judges. The panel of judges will thoroughly examine the market potential, technological innovations, and industrial application values of the pitching teams based on their extensive experience in leading companies, participation in the startup ecosystem, and startup mentorship while focusing on the 8 major themes of this year’s Pitch Contest.

The organizers would also remind interested teams to register for the Pitch Contest between January 8 to May 5, 2026. All registrations are conducted online via the My InnoVEX platform. Participants can login to the My InnoVEX platform with the sign up link below, click on the “Register for the Pitch Contest” button, and enter the relevant information. The 2026 finalists will be announced on the official InnoVEX website on May 26 and the Final Round and Award Ceremony will be conducted on June 4 at the InnoVEX Center Stage,, which will be in the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 2, 4F. Teams that are selected into the Top 15 Finalists will not only receive official global promotion from InnoVEX, but will also be invited to join the 2026 InnoVEX Night Party to network directly with participating VCs, corporate executives, and other invited VIPs. In addition, the Finalists will also be able to join in a one-on-one matchmaking session with VCs on June 5 to accelerate their access to global investment opportunities.
